Data Recovery Process

 

We operate a simple 4 stage process for our data recovery services.  

STAGE 1 - GET A QUOTE

Before sending your data storage device to us give us a call on 0800 046 8087 or complete an online quote request to get an estimate of our recovery prices.

STAGE 2 - EVALUATION

Data can be lost from storage hardware for a number of reasons.  For that reason we need to assess the underlying damage to your device, before we can tell you if recovery of your data is possible and what the final cost of recovery will be.  Follow the link 'Submit Your Job'  for instructions of how to submit your device for an evaluation.  

We will conduct your evaluation within 12 hours of receiving your media at our data recovery laboratory and notify you of the outcome.

STAGE 3 - DATA RECOVERY

If you agree to proceed with the recovery we will begin the data recovery process and will complete your recovery in the relevant time frame provided in our service level options.  We have various turnaround options ranging from 48 hours for our emergency service for recovery of business critical data through to 21 days on our Economy service for less time sensitive data recovery.

STAGE 4 - RETURN OF YOUR DATA

Once your data has been successfully recovered we will transfer the data to a replacement data storage device e.g. DVD or a new external hard drive.

We will ship this back to you using a courier service.

For clients whose data is confidential to them, we also offer additional service extras where we will encrypt your data before returning it to you.
